The first patch for Starcraft 2 was released a few days ago. Sorry for not posting this earlier, but it wasn’t very big anyway. It’s good to see a game launch that actually works the way it should instead of the first month there being major patches to fix a ton of bugs.
Bug Fixes
- Campaign saves have been optimized.
- Fixed an issue with sound not playing on some 7.1 systems.

hi can you tell where i can download the file
i am having problems updating to this patch, i bought the game in a store today and the autorun is trying to update it – it gets to a point in the update (2.4MB remaining) and stops. The message in the updater reads “There were multiple problems saving data”.
HELP!
I’m having the same issue, it won’t finish downloading the patch, so I can’t play the game “multiple problems saving data…” Highly irritating.
Anyone have a solution please?
I’m having same issue. Am trying to find out if I can download and install the patch another way. Or if I have to change port forwarding settings for my router.

Also have the same problem but stops at 64% with 3.3mb remaing and says multiple problems saving data – have spent a waste of 5 hours today farming through sites for a manual download with no avail, someone share it please or post a mirror site up, And blizzard sort your shit out.
same problem as you lot, maybe we should list the details of our PC’s/Macs and when it stopped, to see if there’s a correlation of some sort.
Mine:
Dell XPS laptop, just bought the game, haven’t even played it yet, went straight to the patch. It stops at 57% on the 1.0.3 patch.
Anyone have anything similar?
